The short version

TextFaces is a static website. We don’t ask you to sign up, and we don’t collect personal information to run the core tool. Your favorites, recently-copied faces and settings are stored only in your own browser (via local storage) and never leave your device.

Information stored on your device

To make the site useful, we save the following in your browser’s local storage — not on any server:

• Your favorite faces
• Recently copied and most-used faces
• Your theme (light/dark) and grid preferences

You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example, how many people visit and which pages are popular). These tools collect anonymous, non-identifying usage data. If you deploy this site, disclose the specific analytics provider you use here.
